The music of Bratislava native and Beethoven's contemporary Johann Nepomuk Hummel frames this concert dedicated to wind instruments. Following Hummel's overture, which quotes the anthem of Great Britain, the winner of the Concertino Praga competition, young bassoonist Adam Plšek, will play a concerto by Carl Maria von Weber. Afterwards the initiative will be taken by two members of the Radio Symphony Orchestra – trombonist Pavel Čermák will present the Trombone Concerto by Leopold Mozart and Marek Zvolánek will close out the whole programme with one of the most popular concertos in the trumpet literature.
